About this training course
This class is for anyone creating or maintaining Arbortext Styler stylesheets. Styler training classes are designed help stylesheet designers learn best practices for creating Arbortext Styler stylesheets as well as provide experience necessary for individuals to evaluate the quality of stylesheets delivered by consultants.
Styler training varies depending on the specific class configuration offered at any given time. Courses are a combination of lectures mixed with examples and hands-on exercises. Each attendee will be on a computer building and authoring Arbortext Styler stylesheets based on a standard doctype.
Prerequisites
Previous Experience: Attendees should have previously completed Arbortext Editor Basic Training or already have experience using Arbortext Editor. For some topics, previous experience in Styler is necessary; this includes having worked through Arbortext 102, which takes readers through the full cycle from start to finish.
Software License: Attendees must have their own license of Arbortext Styler; attendees who do not have a license are welcome to attend and observe.
Where is the class held?
We offer both public and private deliveries, either fully remote or in-person. Regardless of the delivery style, all workshops are led by a live, online expert instructor, making for a fully interactive and engaging experience.
Virtual Public Deliveries are held online and, when you share your screen, it's just as if we're just like we're standing behind you and looking over your shoulder. All students can speak and hear each other and the instructor during lecture and hands-on lab exercises. The only difference between this class and in-person? No travel costs.
Private deliveries can be held virtually using your environment, on-site at your facility, or at a location nearby. Contact a training advisor to discuss specific requirements.

What Attendees Have Said
That very helpful. You certainly have a gift for the work you do. You communicate so well to those who “speak you language” and also to people like me that can only understand the highest level details. Thanks for everything!
I worked through the book [Arbortext 102] and needed that little extra help to do what we needed. Thanks!
