Learn the basics for authoring technical content in Arbortext. Good for anyone new to the toolset or simply curious about it. No experience required. In this hands-on workshop, we will walk through authoring and cover everything from creating a new document to publishing a finished product. Each attendee will be on the computer building and authoring a standards-based document. We will also compare DocBook to DITA to MIL-STD and beyond.
This class is a combination of lectures mixed with examples and hands-on exercises.
Previous Experience Required: No previous Arbortext or XML authoring experience necessary.
Software Required: Registration is limited: Laptops with software will be provided for the first 12 registered attendees. Attendees who have their own licensed copy of Arbortext Editor ready and installed may use their own environment during the class.
